Lladro (yaa-drow) is a Spanish company that makes high end porcelain figurines.
The company was founded by brothers Juan, Jose, and Vicente Lladro.
They began making porcelain in 1953, in the village of Almassera,
Spain. In 1969 they moved to their current headquarters in Tavernes
Blanques, Valencia, Spain. Although Tavernes Blanques houses their only
factory, they have authorized dealers all over the world that
sell their figurines. The Children's Nativity is retired and only available on the
secondary market.
